    “Tahiche ist kein klassischer Ferienort sondern wird überwiegend von Einheimischen bewohnt, d.h. es gibt neben 2 kleinen Supermärkten und einem Cafe keine weitere entsprechende Infrastruktur. Für Leute die aber genau dem üblichen Ferientrubel entgehen wollen und einen Mietwagen haben (Pflicht) ist es optimal. Es liegt sehr verkehrsgünstig und zentral, dadurch können mit dem Auto alle Teile der Insel relativ schnell erreicht werden. Aus diesem Grund unsere Bewertung: "sehr empfehlenswert", wer hier die üblichen Anforderungen an einen Ferienort hat wird zu einer anderen Bewertung kommen.”

    “Tahiche ist ein auseinander gezogener Ort, in dem vorwiegend Einheimische leben. Er ist nicht besonders attraktiv, aber er ist ein guter Standort für Touren in den Norden und die Mitte der Insel. Auch der lange Sandstrand von Farmara im Westen ist schnell erreicht. Außerdem liegt Arrecife nur wenige Kilometer entfernt. Ideal, wenn man Stadtleben genießen will. Ein Auto ist also unabdingbar. Nur ca. 2km von der Wohnung entfernt liegt die sehr sehenswerte Fundacion Cesar Manrique. Und in Fußweite findet man das schöne Restaurant Los Aljibes, welches einstmals von Manrique gestaltet wurde.
    Positiv anzumerken ist, dass es nachts sehr ruhig ist.”

    “Het is een rustig dorpje. Er is niks te doen, behalve het mooie huis/ museum van cesar manrique. De supermarkt valt erg tegen, je kunt beter in of nabij Arrecife een grote supermarkt opzoeken. Tahiche is geschikt om vandaar uit het eiland te verkennen. Een huurauto is een must. Ik beveel carplus hiervoor aan.”

The property was disgned and built by the owner and his close personal friend, the renowned Spanish artist Cezar Manrique.

Casa Teiga is located in the outskirts of Tahiche, a sleepy old village situated in the foothills above Arrecife on the road to the old capital Teguise and its famous weekend market. Tahiche is a quick ride to numerous activities both on land and sea. There are supermarkets, chemists, restaurants and bars all within easy reach. The golf course and the beautiful beaches of Costa Teguise and Famara are just minutes away.

The accomodations are tastefully furnished and maintained to the highest standards with antiques mixed with modern furnishings, artwork from Spanish artists, and of warm colours to make you feel welcome and at home. Also provided are digital TV, satellite connection and CD player. Each property has a full furnished lounge, dining area and kitchen. The garden and pool area is shared among the guests.
