    “Sinalunga is een aardig plaatsje met een kleine, maar leuke kern. Er zijn voldoende winkels om boodschappen te doen. Ook is er aan de rand van de stad een wat groter winkelcentrum waar diverse winkels bij elkaar ondergebracht zijn.
    Er zijn best veel restaurantjes te vinden in Sinalunga met een wisselende keuken. Kijk even op google voor wat meer informatie. Vegetarisch en glutenvrij is wel te vinden, maar de keuze is wat beperkt.
    Verder is er een bioscoop en een openbaar zwembad.
    Voor het uitgaansleven kan je in diverse kleine barretjes en cafe's terecht.
    In de directe omgeving (en vlak bij het vakantiehuisje) ligt Scrofiano. Dit plaatsje heeft slechts 1 smalle weg die er doorheen loopt en is zeker de moeite waard om eens te bezoeken. Veel smalle straatjes waar je alleen te voet doorheen kan en die behoorlijk steil zijn!”

    “Vom Haus aus kann man auf einen kleinen Ort blicken, der nachts schön beleuchtet ist. Dort in Lucignano gibt es herrliches Eis (durch das Stadttor laufen, da wo der kleine Supermarkt ist und dann ca 100 Meter links). Und an der Tanksäule (vor dem Tor, Adresse: Via Prato 13), gibt es einen kleinen Pizzaladen "PezziPizza", den ein älteres, herzliches Ehepaar betreibt. Dort haben wir uns des Öfteren Pizza geholt und vor dem Kamin mit einem Glas Rotwein verspeist. Lecker und preiswert!
    In dem größeren Ort Sinalunga gingen wir einkaufen, rauf auf die Schnellstraße, in 5-10 Minuten waren wir beim Lidl oder Coop, da hat uns aber die Größe und das riesige Angebot "überfordert". In Montepulciano haben wir am letzten Urlaubstag noch zwei Gemälde eines toskanischen Künstlers gekauft und erfreuen uns daran. Ein wirklich schöner Urlaub in der Toskana!”

    “Sinalunga is een rustig stadje met enkele winkels en restaurants. Er zijn diverse supermarkten waar je voor van alles terecht kunt.
    Een (huur)auto is wel nodig als je de omgeving wil gaan verkennen. Siena en Arezzo liggen op een afstand van een half uur rijden.”
