    “Das Haus befindet sich nicht im eigentlichen Zentrum von Saint Pair, sondern eher dörflich außerhalb in La Giqueliere. Es ist dort insgesamt wenig Verkehr, allerdings fahren die wenigen Autos, die dort unterwegs sind, nach meinem Geschmack deutlich zu schnell, was mit kleinen Kindern etwas unentspannt ist, zumal es größtenteils keine Bürgersteige gibt. Es geht vergleichsweise viel bergauf und bergab. Wer also Fahrradtouren machen will, was sich landschaftlich und wegen der schönen Orte lohnt, sollte eine funktionierende Gangschaltung haben. In der Nähe gibt es einen großen, gut sortierten Supermarkt (Geant Casino), wo sich auch eine Tankstelle und ein Briefkasten für die Urlaubskarten befinden. Besonders schön und bei allen Gezeiten breit genug ist der Strand an der Thar-Mündung. Sollte kein Strandwetter sein, gibt es in Granville (rund 15 Minuten mit dem Auto) ein Hallenbad mit Rutsche. Vom Hafen Granville bietet sich ein Ausflug zur Insel(gruppe) Chausey an.”
