    “Promenad/cykelavstånd till litet centrum med snabbköp och några restauranger. Något knagglig engelska hos lokalbefolkningen, yngre kan lite mer än äldre, men det funkar med lite god vilja. Utmärkt mat och vin på hotel des Pins. Det finns ett par mack/pizza/ pannkaksställen som ligger vid huvudgatan och är helt ok. Turistbyrån har mycket bra info.

    Två måsten är landstigningsstränderna och Mont Saint Michel. Båda en dryg timmes bilresa från Jullouville. Omaha beach är mest utvecklat för besökare med museum och flera restauranger. Amerikanska krigskyrkogården ligger i närheten. Mont Saint Michel är en helt otrolig upplevelse. Ta reda på när tidvattnet kommer in och titta på när vågorna slår in mot land. Tyvärr alltför mycket tingel tangel butiker på vägen upp mot klostret men så är det ju på många liknande ställen. Flera restauranger med utsikt/terass över havet, tex Les Terasses Poulard kan rekommenderas.

    Utsiktspunkten Pointe du Grouin är nästen värd en egen resa. Otroligt spektakulärt med klippor som stupar rätt ner i havet. Blåsigt. Brasseriet närmast utsiktspunkten serverar en moule frites som tar andan ur en. Mycket gott och värt varje cent.

    Närmsta större orten, Granville, ligger på ca 15 minuters avstånd med bil. Besök utsikten Cap Lihou och den mysiga stadsdelen uppe på höjden med trånga smågator och många trevliga cafeer.”
