Directly in front of the Liznjan's coast there is a small sand island Levan with three restaurants and a sand beach. Liznjan is at a 15-minute drive distance from Pula, the biggest Istrian city, with lots of Roman monuments such as the Roman amphitheater and the Golden Gate. Make sure to visit Cape Kamenjak, the protected natural area with plenty of intact beaches and pine forests offering shadow and grill points for guests, at a 20-minute drive distance from Liznjan. From Pula there are several boats offering you trips to the National Park Brijuni Islands and Venice.
