    “Hultsfred hat 3 Supermärkte, aber nur wenige Restaurants. Die touristischen Attraktionen sund eher dünn gesäht. Die nächst größere Stadt (Vimmerby, ca. 20 km) bietet hier wesentlich mehr.”

    “Trotz der abgelegenen Lage ist alles sehr gut erreichbar. In Hultsfred gibt es jede Menge Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Baden kann man im Fargsjön nicht so gut, aber der Stora Hammersjön mit seiner tollen Badestelle ist in knapp 10 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar.”

    “Das Hammarsjö-Gebiet bietet genug Angel- und Bademöglichkeiten sowie Ruhe und hübsche Wanderrouten durch blaubeerreiche Wälder. Die Mitarbeiter der Touristinformation in Hultsfred sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und man kann dort auch hübsche Kleinigkeiten kaufen. Auch in der Bibliothek konnten wir im Urlaub Bücher und DVDs ausleihen. Am besten an Hultsfred ist die Nähe zu Vimmberby (Astrid Lindgrens Värld), Katthult und Bullerbü. Man kann also viele Ausflüge auf den Spuren Lindgrens unternehmen und hat es auch nicht weit zum Meer an der Ostküste. Der Elchpark in der Nähe ist auch ein schönes Ausflugsziel. Im Supermarkt Willy:s bekommt man alles was man so braucht. Daneben ist auch ein Hund-Jagd-Angel-Laden wo man diesbezüglich auch versorgt ist.”

    “Hultsfred ist ein kleines Städtchen, mit 3 Supermärkten (Preise nur geringfügig über deutschem Niveau, außer bei Alkohol und Obst/Gemüse), 4 Tankstellen, einigen Restaurants, einer Bowlingbahn, einem Bahnhof, mit der Möglichkeit Draisine zu fahren. Es gibt einen großen See mit einem Campingplatz (Badestelle) in der Nähe. Ab 18 Uhr ist praktisch keine Bewegung mehr auf den Straßen, außer an den Supermärkten.
    Die Nähe zu Vimmerby war gut geeignet den Astrid Lindgren Park zu besuchen. Unbedingt einen ganzen Tag einplanen, nicht nur um das Eintrittsgeld (ca. 40€ pro Erwachsenem) auch auszunutzen, sondern weil es sich lohnt. Nicht nur Kinder kommen auf ihre Kosten, sondern alle Altersklassen.”
