Waters sports lovers and divers will enjoy this coastline and the whole region is characterized by its variety of attractions. Worth visiting are: the popular tourist town of Tropea (also known for growing the delicious, red onions) at only 7 km distance; Vibo Valentia with boat transport to the Aeolian Islands (30 km); The characteristic town of Pizzo Calabro with its historic centre (30 km). The sandy beaches of the place may be interested by tides and at certain times of the year, the beaches may therefore no longer be present.
