Apartment on the first floor of a nice building in Epinel, hamlet near Cogne in the province of Aosta. From the balcony you can enjoy a beautiful view over the impressive surrounding mountains. 1452 m high, Epinel is located deep in the wonderful nature of Valle d’Aosta, only 3 km far from Cogne- ideal starting point to do hiking or to reach Parco Nazionale del Gran Paradiso, the only Italian peak more than 4000 m high known for its climbing routes. This is the perfect place for ski and Nordic walking lovers. The main cultural cities are within easy reach: Aosta (23 km), rich in Romanic monuments as Arco di Augusto and the ancient walls, the castles of Fénis (44 km) and Issogne (63 km). If you wish to rest, the thermal baths of Sain Vincent are only 52 km far. Torino airport: 144 km. 50 m from the house, there is a free-bus stop which will take you to the centre of Cogne.
