    “Einen Supermarkt gibt es in einer Entfernung vom etwa 20 min zu Fuß oder wenige Minuten mit dem Auto in Thal. In Ruhla (5 km) findet man mehrere Bäcker und Fleischer. Die Umgebung bietet viele schöne Wandermöglichkeiten und Ausflugsziele. Wir sind vor allem in der waldreichen Umgebung von Ruhla gewandert. In die Touristinformation von Ruhla kann man sich über Wanderrouten informieren. Meist werden auch Einkehrmöglichkeiten empfohlen. Man muss aber die Ruhetage beachten. Schöne Ausflugsziele sind die Tropfsteinhöhle und die Scharfenburg in Thal, der Miniaturpark, der Alexanderturm sowie div. Museen in Ruhla, die Drachenschlucht und die Wartburg in Eisenach. Bei schönem Wetter gibt es auch ein schönes Waldbad in Ruhla. Bad Liebenstein mit seinen Sehenswürdigkeiten ist auch nicht weit.”
