    “Kleiner Ort mit überschaubarem Gastronomieangebot. Ein kleiner Supermarkt, Post, Sparkasse, Apotheke. Für Familien mit kleineren Kindern empfehlenswert (Spielscheune, kleines Hallenbad, Lehr-Wanderwege). Für den Winterurlaub gibt es im ca. 5 km entfernten Oberkirnach einige Skilifte. Villingen-Schwenningen (Einkaufsmöglichkeiten) und die Triberger Wasserfälle sind schnell erreichbar.”

    “Einkaufsmöglichkeiten leider sehr schlecht, nicht mal ein Bäcker. Lag aber daran, dass dieser zu unserer Zeit wegen Renovierung geschlossen war. Keine Pizzeria, auch geschlossen. Immerhin eine Apotheke!
    Toll sind Aqualino (Schwimmbad) und spielscheune, die mit der Gästekarte kostenlos besucht werden können.
    Wir fanden allerdings die Nähe zu den Skiliften sehr toll, nur 3 bzw. 5 km. Mit der Konuskarte auch kostenlos nutzbar! Ein großes Plus! Allerdings Skier auszuleihen ist ein größeres Problem. Wegen Fasnacht mussten wir bis Bad Dürrheim fahren.
    Der Ort selbst ist sauber und bietet auch einen Wildpflanzenwanderweg.”
