    “Tittmoning-Asten selbst ist ein winziges Dort mit ca. 500 Einwohnern. Es gibt in 200 m Entfernung einen kleinen EDEKA-Supermarkt der bis ca. 16 Uhr geöffnet hat. Ein Dorfgasthof mit sehr leckerem Essen und nettem Personal ist nur 100 m weiter. Die Leute sind freundlich im Dorf und Asten ist sehr gepflegt und schön. Wir haben hier allerdings kaum Möglichkeiten für Wanderungen entdecken können. Die Stadt Tittmoning ist ca. 5-7 km entfernt - dort gibt es dann mehr Möglichkeiten zum Essen und shoppen.

    Im Dorf selbst fahren ein paar Buslinien ab, diese fahren aber sehr selten und einen Bahnhof haben wir in der Nähe nur in Tittmoning - Wiesmühl ausmachen können, sodass der Ort für Reisende ohne Auto nicht so geeignet ist. Allerdings ist ein Parkplatz direkt an der Hütte und mit den Elektrofahrrädern im Keller der Hütte könnte man die nähere Umgebung locker erkunden.

    Hinter dem Grundstück befindet sich ein kleines Waldstück zum laufen oder einen Hundespaziergang.”
