    “Wir waren in der Nebensaison in Tavronitis und haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Ort ist klein aber man hat alles was man braucht. Zwei kleine Tavernen ebenfals in 5 Minuten zu erreichen, direkt am Strand, eine sehr zu empfehlen, die andere haben wir nicht ausprobiert. Zum Supermarkt ist es leichte mit dem Auto zu fahren, zu Fuß aber auch möglich.
    Von dem Ort aus kann man super, mit Auto, den westlichen Teil der Insel erkunden und ist dennoch in 5 Minuten an einem sehr ruhigen Strand an dem man sich von allem zurrückziehen kann.”

    “It is a very quiet area where the most striking sounds are the cicadas at night and the cocks in the morning. There are good grocery shopping including a bakery in Tavronitis (750 meters from the house). At the seaside in Tavronitis and nearby Kolumbari there are several good restaurants with reasonable prices. Apart from the beach, there are not many activities for children in this area. It is advisable to rent a car to drive if you want to experience some more of western Crete.”

    “Tavronitis är ett lugnt område, med en hel del restauranger omkring. Vi uppskattade den lokala slaktaren, som hade väldigt fint kött. Stranden är lite stenig, men det var väldigt skönt ändå.”
