“Im Park selber gibt es nur ein Bistro, das nicht immer offen hatte. Es wird viel gebaut, vielleicht kommt noch was dazu. Einkaufen kann man im Nachbarort, ca. 1 km entfernt. Das Meer ist nah, aber bei Ebbe muss man fast 2 km laufen, um schwimmen zu können.
In der Nähe gibt es einen Camingplatz, der ein gutes Restaurant hat und am Wasser ein Strandrestaurant, das super ist. Spazieren gehen kann man, wandern ist eher nicht so interessant.
Im Park stehen viele Häusschen ,die wohl schon älter sind und eher von Einheimischen an den Wochenenden bewohnt werden. Deutsch spricht man fast nirgends.”

“Die Campinganlage liegt etwas näher an Sint Martinsdyk (wo man bei 2 Supermärkten und Bäcker/Metzger gut einkaufen kann) als an Scherpenisse.
In Scherpenisse ist nicht wirklich was los.
Insgesamt ist der Urlaub auf Tholen ohnehin für Leute sinnvoll, die die Ruhe suchen.

Fußläufig am Meer kann man in der Brasserie Zeester sehr nett essen (ist aber nicht immer geöffnet)
10 km weiter in Oud-Vossemer im Lokal Huis van Roosvelt (die Familie Roosevelt soll von hier in die USA ausgewandert sein), wo man wirklich gut essen kann.

Ansonsten ist auf Tholen nicht wirklich viel los, Ruhe satt !!!”

“schöne saubere Anlage ,hilfsbereites und freundliches Personal.
Ein minus Punkt muss ich leider geben. Der Zufahrtsweg zum Haus ist mit Trempeln versehen, wo wir mit einem normalen VW Passat aufgesetzt haben. Das ist sehr ärgerlich.
Man sollte die Urlauber darauf hinweisen.
Ansonsten war unser Urlaub sehr erholsam und wir konnten viel Fahrrad fahren, was bei dieser Umgebung sehr schön ist.”

“Alles vorhanden was man braucht, 3 Kilometer im nächsten Ort gibt es Lidl und einen Sparmarkt, so wie 2-3 kleinere Lädchen. Man bekommt alles was man braucht dort für den täglichen Bedarf.”
