“Santa Maria Coghinas ist ein sehr kleiner Ort, etwas abseits der Küste gelegen. Im Ort gibt es einen kleinen Lebensmittelladen und andere kleinere Geschäfte, die wir aber nicht genutzt haben. Der nächste etwas größere Supermarkt ist 5 km entfernt. Die Straße hinunter ist eine Pizzeria. Außerdem gibt es ein Thermalbad und warme Quellen im Coghinas, in denen man aber offiziell nicht baden darf. Ansonsten hat der Ort selbst eigentlich nicht viel zu bieten und wirkt eher etwas verschlafen. Man kommt von hier aber in etwa 30 Minuten zum Strand und der Ort ist zur Erkundung des Nordens der Insel ein guter Ausgangspunkt, weil er zentral gelegen ist.”
