    “Sehr praktisch das kleine Einkaufszentrum in Gehweite, großer Supermarkt (Conad) in Pula mit allem, was man benötigt (incl. Frischfischtheke). Preise für Feriengegend ok, im Vergleich zu. z.B. Südfrankreich günstiger. Auch einige Obst- und Gemüse-Direktvermarkter (Kooperativen) auf dem Weg von Pula zum Haus.
    Lage des Hauses in "gated Community", ausschließlich Villen mit großen Grundstücken, Einfahrt nur mit Chipkarte, dadurch sehr ruhig gelegen (auch kein Verkehrslärm von der nahen SS195), auch der Strandabschnitt war (erste Septemberhälfte) sehr leer. Strand flach und feinsandig, oft schöne Wellen, man muss also nicht zu den "Karibikstränden" 10 km weiter an der Südspitze fahren (die sehr schön sind, aber vor allem am Wochenende auch gut besucht).
    Mehrere Strandbars/-lokale in Fußweite, dort bekommt man allerdings nur Kleinigkeiten zum Essen. "Richtige" Lokale in Pula und Umgebung, da braucht man aber Auto oder Bus.”

    “Es gab in der Nähe Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Die Gastronomie war außerhalb der Saison eingeschränkt. Der Strand war recht nah, konnte allerdings nicht von uns genutzt werden, weil er voll Algen war. In der näheren Umgebung gab es viele Bade- und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und ein reichhaltiges gastronomisches Angebot. Auch kulturell war in der näheren Umgebung einiges zu entdecken.”

    “Santa Margherita ist nur eine einzige Feriensiedlung ohne Ortskern oder Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Pula in der Nähe hat alles was man braucht. Man kann sehr gut essen gehen. Um zu den Stränden in der Umgebung zu gelangen ist unbedingt ein Auto erforderlich. Aber die Strände sind alle ein Traum!”
