    “Da man zu dieser Unterkunft einen PKW bucht, haben uns die bis zu 5 km zum Supermarkt nicht gestört. Santa Croce Camerina haben wir nur zweimal besucht, unsere Restaurants und Cafes lagen auf dem Rückweg von unseren täglichen Ausflügen eher in Marina di Ragusa. In diesem kleinen Ort gab es sogar einen Bücherladen, den wir mehrmals besuchten.
    Es ist kein überlaufenes Touristengebiet, deswegen hatten wir uns den Südosten ausgesucht.”

    “Schöner Strand mit Bootsverleih, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants sind vorhanden. Ein Golfplatz ist auch in der Nähe. Man darf kein Altstadtflair einer größeren Stadt erwarten...Dafür ist es aber auch nicht touristisch überlaufen. Das Preisniveau ist normal (nicht überteuert).     “We did almost all the grocery shopping in euro spar, in Marina di Ragusa. There is a market every Tuesday as well. We went to the Wednesday market in the bigger town Ragusa. Marina di Ragusa is a very lively beach-town that we enjoyed walking around in the evening. There are plenty of sandy beaches around, so it is great for kids.
    We also enjoyed the fantastic history of the region and Syracuse, by means of a Syracuse guided tour. There are plenty of restaurants within driving distance ~ 3km. Use TripAdvisor! Visit Ristorante Agrituristico Rosacambra, it has a fantastic home-style set menu and only 700m from the house. We experienced the best seafood in Restaurant Gazirat ~12km.
    There are also some wineries nearby. If you like food, wine, cheese, beach, ancient history and friendly people - this is a great location.”
