    “Sant Pol de Mar is really nice. It's local, few tourists. Beach is nice, there some good restaurants and little local shops and the train to Barcelona is not expensive and very comfortable.”

    “Nettes Örtchen für denjenigen, der kein Ramba Zamba während des Urlaubs sucht, sondern ein ruhiges, typisch spanisches Ambiente. Es gibt relativ wenig Touristen hier, es sind vorherrschend spanische Stimmen zu hören.

    Es gibt mehrere Strandabschnitte mit gröberem Sand, während unserer Urlaubszeit (2. Hälfte August) waren diese nicht überlaufen, man hatte genügend Platz und fühlte sich nicht eingekesselt wie in Lloret oder anderen Städten.

    Die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind beschränkt aber vorhanden. Es gibt das ein oder andere Restaurant oder Strandbar. Im Tourist Office gibt's den ein oder anderen Hinweis auf Wandermöglichkeiten etc.

    Für uns war dieser Ort der ideale Ausgangspunkt zu den Orten der Costa Brava (Blanes, Tossa, Figueres, Cadaques) als auch für unsere Tagesausflüge nach Barcelona. Hierbei hat sich das T10 4-Zonen-Ticket als günstige Möglichkeit erwiesen, ohne den Verkehrsstress und die Aufbruchgefahr der Großstadt nach Barcelona zu kommen.

    Tipp: da in Spanien fast alle Parkplätze kostenpflichtig sind, haben wir die Parkplätze am Sportplatz, von denen aus Sant Pol inkl. des Bahnhofs fußläufig zu erreichen sind, als kostenfreie Alternative kennen und schätzen gelernt.”

    “Zeer leuk, authentiek Spaans dorpje, mooi strand echt voor de deur! Weinig tot geen toeristen, ook in de zomer rustig.
    Geen avondvertier, daarvoor naar Calella bv.
    Wel zeer geschikt voor bezoek aan Barcelona, binnen het uur in het centrum, treinstation sant pol de mar op loopafstand, via het strand of over de weg binnen 15 minuten bereikbaar. Wij zijn zelf verrukt van dit plaatsje!”
