    “Schöner Strand, ideal für Kinder, da flach und ohne Felsen; Einkaufsmöglichkeiten: Supermarkt, Bäcker, Apotheke, Wochenmarkt; einige Restaurants, Creperies, Pizzeria; entlang der Küste - teils Strand, teils Felsen/ Klippe- schöne Wandermöglichkeitt Wegen; sehenswerte Kirche im Ort, Unternehmungen in der Gegend von Austerzucht, Ausflüge auf Inseln oder in den Golf von Morbihan: insgesamt eine gute Urlaubsgegend mit vielfältigen Möglichkeiten für Kultur, Sport, Natur oder einfach nur Ausspannen.”

    “Saint-Gildas-de-Rhuys ist ein sehr schöner, ruhiger Ort. Er bietet alles, was man als Frankreich- bzw. Bretagnereisender erwartet. Es gibt ausreichende Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Gastronomie aller Art. Selbstversorgern sind der tolle Wochenmarkt und die hervorragende Boulangerie in der Ortsmitte anempfohlen, da beide mit ihrer Auswahl und Qualität täglich die Begründung dafür liefern, warum man Frankreich als Urlaubsdestination so liebt und schätzt. Die Halbinsel Rhuys ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt zur Erkundung des Golfs von Morbihan, der nicht nur für Wassersportler ein Eldorado darstellt. Es gibt dort ungezählte Ausflugsmöglichkeiten. Sollte man kleine, feine, aber nicht elitäre Ferienorte mit sehr guter Infrastruktur schätzen, so ist man in Saint-Gildas-de-Rhuys gut aufgehoben.”

    “Der nächste Strand ist zu Fuß zu erreichen und bei unserem Aufenthalt waren keine Verbote in Bezug auf Hunde vorhanden. Wir selber halten es aber auch für unerlässlich, die Hinterlassenschaften unserer Vierbeiner zu entfernen! Wie immer an der Küste gibt es den großen Bretagnerundweg, der in seinem Verlauf dem Wanderer viele schöne Ausblicke bietet. Das Freizeit und Einkaufsangebot in der Region ist gut, mehrmals in der Woche (in der Hochsaison täglich) ist Markt in Saint-Gildas.
