    “Saint Christol les Alès is een klein dorp juist buiten Alès. Het ligt vlak tegen een drukke baan die wel wat lawaai(overlast) genereert. Buiten een paar kleinere winkels, apotheker, pizzeria, bakker etc, op wandelafstand, is er ook een grote supermarkt op nauwelijks 5 min. Er zijn weinig tot geen restaurants, daar voor kan je beter naar het grotere Alès gaan op nauwelijks een kwartier. Tussen St Christol en les Alés vind je in een industriezone zowat alle grote winkels die je kan indenken... In St Christol zijn geen noemenswaardige bezienswaardigheden., maar het dorp is een goede uitvalsbasis voor Ales, Nimes, Montpellier, Anduze, ...”
