    “Reville selber ist nur ein kleiner Ort ohne nennenswerte Sehenswürdigkeiten. Aber Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in näherer Umgebung dennoch gegeben, Restaurants ebenso. Tatihou ist recht nah und als Ausgangspunkt für Touren eignet sich Reville sehr gut.”

    “Reville selbst ist recht klein, aber es ist alles da was benötigt wird (Bäcker, Supermatk, Tankstelle, Bars). Die Restaurants haben wir eher in den sehr nahen Nachbarorten aufgesucht, die alle jedoch auch in wenigen Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar sind. Auch gibt es viele schöne Ausflugsziele in der Nähe, zum Beispiel in Barfleur oder Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue.”

    “Einkaufsmöglichkeiten leicht über schmale Departmentsstraße gibt es in ca. 4-5km. Im Hauptort Reville (ca.2km) gibt es einen kleinen typisch französischen 'Tante Emma Laden', einen Bäcker und eine Fleischerei sowie ein kleines Bar/Restaurant.
    Sehr gute Inkaufsmöglichkeiten bietet der nächst größere Ort St. Vaast d.H. In 4 Km Entfernung. Viele gute Restaurants, Bistros und kleine Geschäfte sowie das berühmte 'Maison Goselin', einem familiär geführten bunten Warenhaus. Dort findet man Alles von Delikatessen, über Obst, schier endlose Auswahl Süßigkeiten, Weinen, Spielzeugen, Haushaltsartikeln, und, und, und, und - man kann sich dort sicher Tage aufhalten und findet in einer Ecke immer wieder was Neues.. Wir waren zwar nicht mehrere Tage dort aber zumindest hat dieser Ort ein entsprechendes Ptential.
    Der Sandstrand ist schnell zu erreichen. Von dort kann man auch zu Fuß nach St. Vaast laufen. Nur zum überqueren eines Flüsschens muss man Kurz an den Straßenrand. Sonst kann man wahlweise am Strand bzw. übers Watt oder auch auf einem Pfad oben auf dem Deich/Damm laufen.
    Insgesamt ist der Standort des Ferienhauses günstig gelegen, um die westliche Normandie inkl. desUtah-Beach Landungsbereich zu erkunden. Es gibt tolle Wanderwege entlang der Klippen (z.B. den alten Zöllnerpfad) oder im Inneren der Halbinsel. Allgemein hält sich der Touristenrummel in Grenzen; Touristenrummel gibt es in einigen Orten aber nach ein paar Schritten weiter kann man auch Ruhe und idyllische Plätzchen finden.”
