show more German, you will find two nice lake restaurants one of which is also opened in winter), a wine bar (which used to be a post office), a gift- and souvenir shop (handicraft work by resident ladies), a carving workshop and a chapel.
Quinten - one of the last car-free places in Switzerland - can only be attained by foot (from Weesen and Walenstadt) or by ship. There are two ship stations, one in Quinten village and a second one in Au. Ships, like the course ship "Alvier", depart from Murg every day.
