    “Portoroz ligt heel dicht bij het prachtige middeleeuwse stadje Piran, dat is echt een bezienswaardigheid. Ook de nabijgelegen zoutpannen zijn een bezoekje waard.
    En dan heb ik het nog niet eens gehad over Portoroz zelf, het ligt prachtig aan de baai, er zijn heerlijke zwemmogelijkheden op verschillende plaatsen. Er zijn goede supermarkten en je kunt er heerlijk uit eten. Alles wat nodig is voor een geslaagde vakantie!”

    Meer angenehme Temperatur, es gibt sehr viele Bademöglichkeiten. Man muss aber um die Beschaffenheit der Strände wissen (Steine, betoniert), aber ausreichend Liegewiesen, die man nutzen kann. Für Familien mit Kleinkindern gibt es auch einen (aufgeschütteten) Sandstrand eigentlich zentral im Ort. Für Kinder auch Spielplätze, Wassersportmöglichkeiten...das Übliche. Insgesamt ein gepflegter Ort.
    Fazit: Ein sehr schöne Gegend dort an der Küste und alles bei einem Preisniveau, das etwas unter dem deutschen liegt.”
