    “Montferrat (fußläufig bergab in ca. 15 Minuten, bergauf in ca. 30 Minunten erreichbar) ist ein recht idyllisches, aber winziges Örtchen im provencalischen Stil, ohne einen Touristen. Allerdings gibt's auch sonst nichts. Ein Tabakladen/Bar mit französische Zeitungen und eine Boulangerie für Baguette sowie ein Lädchen mit frischem Obst aber ansonsten leeren Regalen - das war's. Das eine (geöffnete) kleine Restaurant im Ort war sehr nett. Ansonsten gibt's keinerlei Freizeitsangebote. Nächste Stadt mit allen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (Supermarkt) ist Draguigon, ca. 20 Autominuten entfernt, da die direkte Straße D995 derzeit (angeblich für zwei Jahre) gesperrt ist. Ansonsten eignet sich der Standort aber sehr gut für Ausflüge ins Umland (Verdon-Schlucht oder an die Küste).”
