All around several mountain relieves above 2000 m. among which “Monte Vettore” with the Pilato’s Lake; this small and beautiful basin lake is famous not only for its beauty but also for being the home of the chirocefalo del Marchesoni, miniscule crustacean that has survived from the Glacial Period adapting to the various climatic changes that have occurred.
Not far away is Mount Sibilla (“Monte Sibilla”) home of Alcina, a legendary sorceress mentioned in the works of Antoine De La Sale.
