    “Mijn algemeen gevoel bij de 'badplaats' Las Galleta's is dat het zijn gloriejaren achter de rug heeft. Sterk gedateerde infrastructuur, wegen, stoepen, gebouwen, ... Weinig te beleven, hoewel er een kleine commerciële zone is en een aantal restaurants (heel goedkoop wegens niet te commercieel). Stranden zijn niet uitnodigend, maar die zijn sowieso dun gezaaid in Tenerife. Voldoende kleine supermarkten in de buurt. Kort bij de luchthaven en met het openbaar vervoer of de wagen zijn de toeristische trekpleisters makkelijk te bereiken. Voor de rest een gezellige aangename kleinschalige buurt, voor wie het massatoerisme wil ontwijken een goeie bestemming en dan neem je de nadelen er graag bij.”
