    “Krásné místo s mnoha možnostmi výletů do hor, k jezerům, nádherná různorodá krajina s přírodními zajímavostmi a pamětihodnostmi v městě L´Aquila. Dostatek obchodů i restaurací , cenově přijatelných.”

    “De stad L'Aquilla valt erg tegen. Er is in 2009 een heftige aardbeving geweest en de schade daarvan is nog steeds niet hersteld. Overal zie je kapotte huizen en hijskranen. Niet gezellig om doorheen te lopen of rijden. We hebben wel in een fantastisch restaurant gegeten. Opvallend is dat de Italianen in L'Aquilla bijna geen woord Engels spreken. Obers in restaurant zijn wel erg behulpzaam en met zijn allen proberen ze ons te helpen de menukaart te begrijpen.
    Omgeving van L'Aquilla is helemaal niet toeristisch, we hebben alleen maar Italianen gezien. We hebben 2 Nederlandse auto's zien rijden in de buurt van de stad, verder geen andere buitenlanders. (Toch opvallend, want Nederlanders en Duitsers kom je normaal op elk vakantieadres wel tegen, maar hier dus niet!)
    De omgeving, natuur rond L'Aquilla is prachtig! Je kunt er prachtig wandelen. Ook in de zomer: eventjes een stukje rijden met de auto en je bent wat hoger en dan is het heerlijk koel om fijn te kunnen wandelen.”
