The mountains draw in those seeking an escape from the tumult of the city, as well as peace and quiet, in a land of high ridges and plains.(Though they can be seen on most days from the house, they can be reached in a 30 minutes drive.)
Numerous foot and bicycle trails lead through the most attractive areas of Lower Silesia (there is a bike trail in front of the house and a marked walking route just behind.)
A kayaking trip along the wide and languorous rivers through the region is sure to provide an unforgettable experience. The closest spot is just 4km away on the beautiful river Bobr where fishermen can be seen wading into the water to enjoy a spot of fly fishing for trout, etc.
For those who prefer the challenges of extreme sport, numerous climbing trails await. And in winter there are superbly prepared ski runs.
Lovers of horseback riding will find open space, forest trails, picturesque valleys and rolling hillsides (nearest horseback riding is found 8km away).
Many visitors are attracted by the Karkonosze Mountains, one of the most valued recreational and leisure areas in Poland.
