    “Der nächstgelegene, vom Ferienhaus 3 Kilometer entfernte, Ort Larnas hat außer der romanischen Kirche Saint-Pierre nicht viel zu bieten. Schön war der dort stattfindende "Nachtmarkt". Über die Serpentinenstraße geht es von Larnas hinunter in den mittelalterlichen Ort St. Montan (vom Ferienhaus 6,4 Kilometer entfernt). Dort gibt es die Möglichkeit Brot und Zeitung zu kaufen. Im Ort findet man zwei Restaurants, eine Poststelle, eine Apotheke und einen sehr empfehlenswerten Gemüseladen. Herzstück des Ortes ist der wunderschöne Burgberg, mit vielen verwinkelten Gassen und einem tollen Ausblick über die Dächer der kleinen Ortschaft. Übrigens, die Burg wird auch weiterhin saniert und restauriert. Ca. 15 Kilometer entfernt liegt die Ortschaft St. Remeze. Auch hier gibt es einige nette Restaurants. Die Schluchten und Höhlen der Ardeche sind von hier ein lohnendes Ausflugsziel. Auf dem Weg nach St. Remeze gibt es in St. Vincent ein kleines Lebensmittelgeschäft. Größere Einkäufe lassen sich im 15 Kilometer entfernten Bourg St. Andeol erledigen.”
