    “Im Ort Ghiffa selbst gibt es fast nix.
    In gleicher Entfernung von der Wohnung liegt allerdings Intra.
    Dort gibt es mehrere Supermärkte und sogar einen Bioladen.
    Man kann nach Intra auch gut zu Fuß gehen, ohne an der Uferstraße unnötige Risiken einzugehen.
    Ein kleiner Badestrand mit Dusche liegt nur ca. 10 Min. Fußweg von der Ferienwohnung entfernt.
    Es gab selbst in der Hauptsaison noch genügend freie Plätze.”

    “Ca. 400 Meter von der Ferienwohnung entfernt ist ein kleiner "Tante Emma"-Laden, der alles hat was man braucht: Semmel, Brot, sehr leckeren Schinken, Käse, Obst, Gemüse, Getränke etc. Sehr freundliche Inhaber, freuen sich wenn man ein bisschen Italienisch spricht, verstehen aber auch Deutsch einigermaßen.
    In Ghiffa waren wir nie, da wir jeden Tag Ausflüge in die nähere Umgebung gemacht haben, deshalb können wir hierzu leider keine Angaben machen. Allerdings erreicht man von Ghiffa aus den Ort Cannero Riviera in ca.10-15 Autominuten - dort kann man sehr schön schwimmen gehen. Sehr sehenswert ist auch Cannobio (ca. 25 Minuten entfernt) mit seinen hübschen engen Gassen, guten Restaurants/Eisdielen und einem schönen kleinen Hafen.
    Nur 5 Minuten entfernt ist Verbania/Intra - dort kann man vom Hafen aus z.B. auf die Isola Bella fahren (sehr sehenswert),
    bummeln oder essen gehen oder in dem Botanischen Garten .
    Die Parkgebühren sind fast überall gleich: 1,- Euro/Stunde.”

    “Ghiffa zelf is een klein dorpje met enkele restaurantjes, een ijssalon en vakantiewoningen/hotels. Er zijn veel palmbomen te vinden en mooie huizen. In Ghiffa zelf is een kleine supermarkt te vinden. In Verbania zijn vele grote supermarkten te vinden. De weg van Ghiffa naar Verbania is vaak zeer druk, je doet vaak erg lang over de 5 km.”
