    “Furnas hat sehr viele High Lights. Zu einem der bot. Garten 'Terra Nostra' mit den Warmpool/Yakuzi, zählt zu den Topp Ten der bot. Gärten der Welt. Der bot.Garten am Furnas See, welcher wilder ist, einen kleinen Wasserfall und einen Nachbau einer frz. got. Kirche im kleineren Massstab beherbergt. Spazieren zu den Restaurants, wie Hotelrestaurant 'Terra Nostra Garden' ausgezeichnete Steaks und ein Zitronensorbet vom Allerfeisnsten. Wenn man dort sich das Menue oder ein Hauptgericht einverleibt, bezahlt man keinen Einritt in den bot. Garten, oder kann sich das Eintrittsgeld wieder ausbezahlen lassen. 'Boutique Hotel', wo es die beste Pizza gibt. 'Miroma' Kotlett vom Rind, der Hammer, aber auch kleine Bistros, die es lohnt, mal ein Gläschen zu kippen. Der Frisör gegenüber dem Supermarkt ist eine Nummer für sich und der Meistro Bruno Costa labert einen mit ein wenig "Eiteitei" angenehm die Ohren weg. Ein Muss ist Poca da Beja, die Warmbecken. Am besten gleich morgens ab 7:00 Uhr in das schwelhaltige bis 39°C warme Wasser, da hat man die Naturpools für sich. voller wird es Abends und am WE. Von der Wohnung ca. 20m. einmal zahlen,den ganzen Tag, auch mit Unterbrechung, baden, wer es verträgt. Die Käserei hat ausgezeichnete Käsvariationen und freut sich auf einen Besuch. Für Furnas und nähere Umgebung genügt nicht nur ein Tag!”
