    “Ferchesar ist ein kleines verschlafenes Dörfchen. Biegt man von der Hauptstraße in eine Nebenstraße, endet diese zeitnah im Wald oder an einem Feld. In den Herbstmonaten hat die Eisdiele leider nur noch am Wochenende auf. In einem kleinen Konsum auf dem Camping-Platz bekommt man allerdings das nötigste. In einer Gasttätte essen gehen kann man auch, habe ich aber nicht ausgetestet. Wenn man Ruhe und Idylle sucht (kann in den Sommermonaten anders sein), bildet Ferchesar ein super Ausgangspunkt für zahlreiche Wanderungen. Orte mit verschiedenen Geschäften sind schnell mit dem PKW zu erreichen.”

    “Die Einkaufsmöglichkeit im Ort ist gleich Null. PKW, mindestens aber Fahrrad sind erforderlich um in die nächstgelegenen Orte zu kommen. Die nächsten Supermärkte sind in Rathenow. Mit der Gastronomie ist es ebenso, die einzige Gaststätte wegen Urlaub geschlossen und Restaurant Campingplatz sehr entlegen durch den Wald! Sonst ist es ein schönes, ruhiges und sauberes Dörfchen ohne Durchgangsverkehr. Das Wasser des See`s ist klar, die Badegelegenheiten sind Prima. Die Ausstattung der Ruhezonen am Ufer lässt keine Wünsche offen.Gottfried”
