    “Es gibt einen kleinen Kaufmann im Ort. Der nächste größere Laden ist ca. 5 Minuten mit dem Auto im nächsten Ort. Die Fähre fährt im Sommer bis 24 Uhr über den Limfjord nach Hals. Dort gibt es viele Läden und Gastronomie. Egense selbst ist sehr ruhig. Es gibt einen kleinen Hafen mit Spielplatz und Strand”

    “Ein relativ gut ausgestatteter kleiner Supermarkt befindet sich am Eingang zum Ferienhausgebiet (ca. 10 Min. zu Fuß entfernt). Wenige Meter vom Haus entfernt kann man Gemüse der Saison an einem Stand erwerben. Zum Einkaufen ist auch Mou mit dem Fahrrad oder Auto schnell erreichbar, wo es einen "Super Brugsen" und eine Eisdiele gibt.
    In Hals, das man mit der Fähre gut erreichen kann, gibt es mehrere größere Supermärkte, Galerien und andere Einkaufsmöglichkeiten.
    Wer noch mehr möchte, fährt nach Aalborg, wo es alles gibt. Die Uferpromenade und der Park mit den "singenden Bäumen" sind sehr empfehlenswert.
    In ca. 10 Minuten ist man zu Fuß am Fjord, zur Ostsee braucht man ca. 30 Minuten. Mit kleinen Kindern ist beides empfehlenswert (allerdings auf Feuerquallen achten!).”
