    “Diano d’Alba is een mooi, boven op een berg gelegen dorpje. Er zijn diverse restaurants en een klein winkeltje voor de noodzakelijke voorzieningen. Voor de uitgebreidere boodschappen moet je naar Alba een stad ca. 4 km. verderop. Hier tref je alles op winkelgebied. Verder niet veel te vermelden.”

    “Es gibt enorm viele Sehenswürdigkeiten und wer italienischen Wein mag, kommt voll auf seine Kosten. Uns hat vor allem La Morra, Verduno und Baroli (ist etwas zu touristich) gefallen, Bra und Alba muss man sich unbedingt mal anschauen. Wir mochten auch die Umgebung von Monteu Roero sehr, (etwa 25 Km weg) dort ist es etwas mehr bewaldet und wir haben eine 400 Jahre alte Kastanie gefunden. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es genügend, die Supermärkte haben auch am Sonntag geöffnet.”

    “Der Ort selber ist sehr nett, es gibt viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe. Ebenso sind Sehenswürdigkeiten in ausreichendem Maße vorhanden. Eine wunderschöne Gegend mit netten kleinen Orten mit Schlössern, Burgen etc. Unbedingt sehenswert. Besonders gut haben uns die Städte Alba und Asti gefallen. Wir würden jederzeit noch mal ins Piemont fahren, statt in die Toscana.”
