    “Die Lage ist nicht direkt in Collodi. Es ist schon sehr ruhig gelegen, Restaurants gibt es in der näheren Umgebung nicht. Für Ausflüge ist die Lage der Ferienwohnung aber optimal. Lucca, Pisa und auch Florenz sind gut erreichbar. Auch bis zum Ligurischen Meer fährt man nur knapp 45 Minuten.”

    “Er zijn op een km of 3 afstand diverse supermarkten en eetgelegenheden( Pescia), echter niet op loopafstand. Alleen de locale kruidenier die wel alles in huis heeft. De omgeving is oud en gedateerd. Veel vervallen huizen en de locale horeca is dat ook. In Collodi zelf (op enige afstand) staat alles in het teken van Pinnocio en de tuinen. Maar erg vriendelijk zijn de mensen niet. Op een na dan. Heerlijke Italiaanse lekkernijen hebben we in de omgeving niet kunnen ontdekken. Wat erg jammer is. Wel konden we gratis gebruik maken van een buitenzwembad van een hotel in de buurt. ( +/- 3 km afstand). Waar je goed kunt eten, maar ook niet meer dan dat.
