    “Le village où se situe la maison est très sympathique avec un environnement splendide et riche culturellement. Ne pas oublier de visiter le jardin publique avec sa tour offrant une vue panoramique sur le paysage. Il y a également une petite rue médiévale à ne manquer sous aucun prétexte. Par ailleurs, il n'y a de nombreux points d'intérêt proche comme la jolie localité d'Arcidosso à proximité ainsi que Montalcino qui est remarquable. Castel del Piano de présente pas vraiment d'intérêt. Monte Amiata réjouira les amateurs de promenades en pleine nature. Depuis Montenero on accède facilement à d'autres villes comme Sienne (40 min de route), Rome (2h40) ou encore Florence ou Pise via des autoroutes pas toujours en très bon état. L'alimentation dans les épiceries est assez chères ainsi que l'essence surtout qu'il faut beaucoup se déplacer pour visiter la région mais c'est général à toute l'Italie. D'autre part, toutes les stations services ne prennent pas les cartes de crédits visa/mastercard ou american express ce qui est un peu gênant. Pour le shopping, il n'y a pas grand chose à moins d'une heure de route mais il est vrai qu'on ne vient pas en Toscane pour refaire sa garderobe, il y d'autres choses bien plus intéressantes à réaliser et ce site offre de multiples possibilités très attrayantes.”
