    “Carly ist ein kleines, ruhiges Dörfchen. Außer einer Dorfkneipe ist dort nicht viel. Zum Einkaufen muss man in den Nachbarort fahren, ca. 4km. Dort findet man einen Supermarkt, Bäcker etc.
    Wir haben meist auf dem Rückweg von unseren Tagestrips irgendwo eingekauft. Große Supermärkte, auch Aldi und Lidl, finden sich dort reichlich.

    Die Region ist landschaftlich sehr schön. Wir haben wirklich viel gesehen in der einen Woche. Für unsere Jungs (13 u. 15) waren die vielen Bunker an den Stränden superspannend und boten Gelegenheit, sich mit dem Thema auseinanderzusetzen. So hat man ganz nebenbei auch noch Bildungsurlaub.”

    “Willkommen bei den Sch´tis! Ruhiges nettes Dörfchen im Boulonnais. Schöne ruhige Wohnlage auf dem Lande, aber doch verkehrsgünstig gelegen. Sicher wohnen deshalb auch viele Franzosen aus den umliegenden Städten hier. PKW empfehlenswert.
    Kleiner Laden, Post, Mairie, Kirche und kleine Kneipe am Ort.
    Einkaufen in Samer, Desvres oder in den nahe gelegenen großen Einkaufszentren in Richtung Boulogne. Strände etwa 10-20 km entfernt.
    Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten und Erholungsmöglichkeiten der Region sind von hier aus per Auto gut erreichbar. Autobahn ist nördlich von Boulogne Maut-frei. Empfehlenswerter Ausgangspunkt für Individualtouristen zur Erkundung des Pas de Calais.”
