    “Im Ort selber gibt es leider nur eine kleine aber feine Bäckerei. Ein Restaurant oder eine Bar fehlen, leider auch in den direkten Nachbardörfern. In den Dörfern am Strand und in den größeren Orten und Städten gibt es natürlich eine breite Auswahl.
    Ca. 4 km Richtung Caen gibt es einen großen Supermarkt (Carrefour), in dem man alles bekommt, was man im Urlaub so braucht; vorallem gibt es eine sehr große Lebensmittelabteilung mit täglich frischem Fisch.
    Cambes en Plaine ist ein sehr guter Ausgangspunkt für viele Sehenswürdigkeiten. Mit dem Auto ist man in ca. 10 Min. am Strand, dort gibt es auch in der Hauptsaison immer kostenlose Parkplätze in Strandnähe. Radeln ist kein Problem, es gibt viele ausgebaute Radwege.
    Die Menschen sind sehr freundlich, Französischkenntnisse sind allerdings immer noch von Vorteil.”
