    “Calci heeft net zo'n beetje alles wat je nodig hebt om een verblijf mogelijk te maken. Enkele restaurantjes in het dorp, een ijssalon, pinautomaat en een supermarkt. Een bezoek aan het Restaurant Rosa dei Venti ( Windrose) op de berg achter Calci is echt aan te bevelen. Super aardige kok/eigenaar die ons aan Bud Spencer deed denken kookt heerlijk lokale gerechten en laat je genieten van een prachtig uitzicht over de vallei en de zee. Je kunt er de eilanden voor de kust zien bij helder weer!”

    “Die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind sehr gut. Es gibt in der Ortsmitte einen COOP Einkaufsladen der alle Dinge des täglichen Bedarfs hat. Freitags kommt eine Obst und Gemüseverkäuferin mit dem LKW und verkauft sehr gute Ware direkt von diesem zu extrem günstigen Preisen. Der ort Calci ist eine sehr gute Ausgangslage um Städte anzuschauen. Pisa, Livorno,Viareggio, Lucca,Sienna......
    Zum Strand Marina di Pisa muss man mit ca. 30 min Anfahrtsweg rechnen. Es gibt auch Strände die näher sind aber wer nicht in dem Tourismus sein möchte geht dort nicht hin.”
