Although close to the A39 and Bude, Hilton is a very tranquil place. The site has beautiful views overlooking the countryside down to the sea and the cottages are set off a very quiet road in 25 acres of our own land. There are excellent facilities on site, including a heated outdoor pool (open Easter to September) a hot tub, outdoor tennis court, play area and games room. There are 10 properties, ranging from our 16th century farmhouse to three modern cottages (Manor, Parsons and Pound) and barn conversions sleeping between 2 and 6.
Hilton is 5.7km from the beach at Widemouth Bay, well known for surfing and 4.2 km from Bude, a small seaside town with large sandy beaches and a sea pool. The area is good for cyclists and walkers, with the South West coastal path and the Camel valley trail within easy reach. You can enjoy a peaceful walk along the canal into Bude, or over the fields to the sea at Widemouth Bay.
