Die unweit gelegene Glockengießerei bietet jedoch einen Laden , der neben schönen eigenen Produkten auch eine kleine Lebensmittelabteilung besitzt. Eine Führung in der Gießerei ist sehenswert. Größere Einkäufe, insbesondere Frischware, daher in der schnell erreichten Kreisstadt Daun. Gaststätten finden sich überwiegend in guter Qualität in den umliegenden Orten. An Sehenswürdigkeiten mangelt es bei Bereitschaft, etwas mit dem Auto in die Umgebung zu fahren, nicht. Wanderer und Fahrradfahrer finden um den Ort im Umkreis von bis 5 Kilometer viele lohnenswerte Ziele.”
