    “Der Ort bietet selbst kaum Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Es gibt einen Supermarkt (Carrefour) im benachbarten Allones. Dort ist auch eine Bäckerei. Größere Einkäufe kann man in Saumur (sehr sehenswert ist das Schloss und die Altstadt) tätigen. Dort ist auch eine große Tankstelle, an der alle gängigen Kredit- und Bankkarten akzeptiert werden sowie zahlreiche Restaurants und Cafes.

    Die Region ist von der Landwirtschaft und vom Weinbau geprägt. Sehenswerte sind die vielen Burgen und Schlösser, die in eine wunderbare Landschaft eingebettet sind. Größere Städte in der Umgebung sind Angers und Tours (beide ca. 66 km).”
