    “Het strand is op ongeveer 10 minuten rijden en erg mooi. Winkels en restaurants zijn ook dichtbij. In een klein half uurtje ben je in Tampa en op St. Pete beach. Sarasota is ongeveer 20 minuten rijden waar een grote mall zit. Ellington Premium Outlet Mall is een kwartier rijden.
    Kortom Bradenton is een prima plek om dit deel van Florida te ontdekken”

    “Das Haus liegt nicht in Bradenton sondern vielmehr in dem Ort Ellenton. Hier ist für Kinder nicht viel los. Die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind wie in allen Amerikanischen Städten eher mit dem PKW zu erreichen. Publix, Walgreens, Mc Donald und Co. mit PKW alles gut zu erreichen. Gegenüber dem Walmart gibt es jetzt auch ein Aldi ! Der auch deutsche Produkte hat. Tankstellen vorhanden.

    Hervorheben möchte ich das Outlet Center. Es ist gut gepflegt mit tollen Geschäften und gehört derzeit zur "simon" Gruppe. Wie auch die Florida Mall in Orlando die uns gar nicht gefallen hat. Wer mal nicht aufs Geld achten will dem sei die Westfield Countryside (Mall) empfohlen. Sie gehört mal nicht zur Simon Group und sticht schon dadurch aus dem Einheitsbrei heraus.

    An der Abfahrt in Ellenton gibt es diverse mittlere bis gute Restaurants und, wie geschrieben, viele Schnell Restaurants. Man sollte jedoch beachten das diese oft schon um 22:00 Uhr zu machen. Dann bleibt nur noch Mc Donald. Wir haben den Strand auf Anna Maria Island besucht. Das war vom Haus ca. eine dreiviertel Stunde entfernt. Noch mehr Florida Infos gibt es auf Holidaycheck.”
