    “Da wir in den Herbstferien dort waren, befürchte ich, dass der Eindruck von der Hauptsaison abweichen kann.
    Die Wohnung liegt in einem kleineren Ort am Rande mit der Fehmarnsundbrücke in Sichtweite. Dort kann man also zu Fuß hin. Zum Einkaufen braucht man aber definitiv einen fahrbaren Untersatz. (Es gibt allerdings einen Brötchen-Service, so dass man nicht schon morgens früh ins Auto hüpfen muss.) In dieser Jahreszeit kam mir die Unterkunft ruhig und fast abgelegen vor. Da aber noch einige Ferienwohnungen drum herum lagen, gehe ich davon aus, dass es in der Hochsaison belebter ist.
    Fehmarn selbst ist sehr hübsch und bietet alles, was ein Ostseeurlaub bieten sollte - hübsche Städtchen (Burg), Strände und Deiche. Auch Lübeck und Travemünde sind recht schnell zu erreichen.
    Meiner Meinung nach braucht man jedoch definitiv ein Auto (oder zumindest Fahrräder, wobei ich mit diesen nur ungern über die engen Landstraßen fahren würde - das ist aber vielleicht nur die Meinung eines ungeübten Radfahrers aus der Stadt.)
    Wenn man aber ein Auto hat, liegt der Ort verkehrsgünstig, so dass man schnell in Burg bzw. auf der Schnellstraße Richtung Festland oder Puttgarden ist.”
