    “Als Ferienort würde ich Alt Farpen direkt nicht bezeichnen. Die Unterkunft liegt selbst an einer schönen alten Lindenallee . Dort entlang gelangt man zu verschiedenen Fahrradrouten. ALt Farpen zwischen Feldern und kleinen Wäldchen und viel mehr haben wir nicht entdecken können. Es ist sehr abgelegen und ruhig. Die Lage des Ortes war für uns günstig als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge zur Insel Poel, Boltenhagen, Kühlungsborn und Wismar.”
