This charming apartment on the second floor of the house enjoys a quiet location. The house is on the edge of a forest, in the southern Black Forest nature reserve. The 55m² apartment can accommodate four people. It has a bedroom with a big double bed (160cm wide) and a bathroom with a shower, WC, hairdryer and washbasin with an illuminated mirror. The spacious living room has a window with a balcony door, a comfortable sitting corner with two sofas and an LED TV (cable channels), a DVD player, a CD and MP3 player. Behind the sitting area there is a fold-out double bed (160cm wide), with an adjoining dining space with a table and four chairs. The table can be extended. The little kitchen is fully-equipped with a ceramic hob, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, coffee machine, kettle and dishwasher. All the rooms have heating.

The balcony belonging to the apartment looks out at the nearby forest. You can park free of charge in the underground garage.

The Todtmoos guest card is available for stays from just one night and also allows you to use all the buses and trains throughout the Black Forest region free of charge, as well as offering a range of free extras (e.g. ski lift centre, mountain bike hire, Municipal History Museum). Further information is available at the Todtmoos tourist information. Please note that pets are not allowed and that smoking is only permitted outside or on the balcony.

It is barely a kilometre into the centre of Todtmoos, about a ten-minute walk. The nearest supermarket is about 2km away, a few minutes by car. There are many trip destinations in the area, such as the Titi and Schluch lakes, and Freiburg with the Europa Park. Or you could go on a trip to Basel or France. Sports enthusiasts can go hiking, cycling or Nordic walking.

    “Wer Ruhe und Erholung sucht ist hier richtig. Positiv: Die wunderbare Aussicht und die Ruhe Negativ: Alles war super. Restaurant: Pizzeria Ratsstüble - Egal was wir gegessen haben alles hat sehr, sehr super geschmeckt. Das komplette Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und super nett dafür fünf Sterne. Ausflüge: Schluchsee - Ich sag nur Natur pur”

    “Balkon hat zusammengewürfeltes Gestühl und am Boden nur den Rohbeton. Es gibt keine Sitzkissen für die 2 Plastikstühle. Im Schlafzimmer sind die Betten ungünstig aufgestellt. Zur Fensterseite behindert ein elektr. Speicherofen Ein-/Ausstieg zum Bett. Geschirr ist sehr dürftig vorhanden. Beim Bezug der Wohnung ging es kein Strom. Erst nach langem Suchen stellte mein Mann fest, dass alle Sicherungen abgeschaltet waren. Stellplätze sind nicht genügend vorhanden. Man war also gezwungen einen kostenpflichtigen Stellplatz im Hotel zu buchen. Nur jeden Tag war ein Suchen nach einem anderen Stellplatz, da etliche von Wohnungseigentümern reserviert waren. Mobiliar im Wohnzimmer ist ungünstig platziert. Ständig kam man an die tief hängende Lampe neben dem Esstisch. Bei offenen Fenstern war keine Ruhe (Nachmittag/Nachts) möglich, da neben der Anlage die ansteigende Straße nach St. Blasien von Motorradfahrern und sportlichen Autofahrern mit Getöse befahren wurde. Man drehte die Motoren hochtourig auf. Elektroinstallation (3-fach Stecker an Steckdose neben der Spüle für Heißwasserkocher, Kaffeemaschine und Toaster, an Ketten frei hängendes Beleuchtungsbrett mit Halogenbirnen über dem Waschbecken im Bad. Küchenecke war lt. Fotos besser als in Wirklichkeit. Auch das Procedere nach der Buchung war alles andere als toll.”

    We make efforts to bring enhancements to our apartment. We are planning a balcony arrangement and a replacement of the heat radiator in the bedroom.
    We are sorry for the inconvenience of the parking space. It would have been helpful if we could receive a notification during the accomodation period so that we could take the proper measures to address it.
    We do provide a parking space inside underground garage, specially reserved for the apartment`s guests.”
