Authentic natural stone house, recently (2007) converted into modern holiday apartments, with a panoramic sea view from the extensive, privately used sun deck
This traditional, detached natural stone house is nestled into the green, hilly landscape above the long sandy beaches before Kissamos, along the north-west coast of the sunny Greek island of Crete.
The 100m² holiday apartment occupies half of the ground-level stone house from the 18th century, which was recently fully renovated in 2007 and provided with modern furnishing. It has its own separate entrance, ensuring privacy. The apartment consists of an open living and dining room with an integrated, fully-equipped kitchen, one air-conditioning bedroom, one other bedroom and a light bathroom. The living room provides a comfortable sofa, a desk with a laptop and a wooden dining table with six chairs. The kitchen next to it is equipped with a four-zone gas hob, an electric oven, a large fridge with a freezer compartment, a coffee machine and plenty of crockery and cutlery. Tea and sugar are provided as a little extra. The open fireplace built into the wall enhances the rustic country house atmosphere and exudes cosy warmth on cooler evenings. The two bedrooms are each furnished with a large double bed, bedside tables with reading lamps and a cupboard with ample storage space. One bedroom also has a wall-mounted flatscreen TV and an air conditioning unit. The bathroom is fitted with a shower cubicle, a washbasin with a wall mirror, a hairdryer, a toilet and a washing machine. A cot is available on request. Plenty of bed linen, towels and beach towels are provided and the wireless Internet connection is included in the rental price.
The roofed, extensive sun deck is for your own exclusive use during your stay. You can enjoy relaxed holiday meals at the table with chairs with a panoramic view over the hilly landscape as far as the blue sea. A car is recommended during your stay and you can find parking spaces right in front of the house.
It is about 2.5km to the nearest long sandy beach. In the centre of Kissamos about 4.5km away you can find all the necessary holiday amenities: shops, colourful markets and a good range of rustic Greek tavernas and restaurants.
