You can reach the Hexentanzplatz Plateau located at an altitude of 454 metres through the cable cars from the valley of Thale (28 km away). Thale Mountain Theatre, an ancient open-air theatre with 1350 seats, is situated here. Take a day trip to Quedlinburg (27 km away). Take a stroll in Quedlinburg along the uneven cobblestone way through the picturesque streets and enjoy the unique atmosphere of the medieval town, which is also in UNESCO’s World Heritage List. Experience the narrow-gauge railway in the romantic Selke Valley. This valley’s landscape is characterised by steep cliffs, lush meadows, picturesque ponds and extensive beech and oak forests. You can also take a hike in this valley. Visit the Albertine Amusement Park in Harzgerode (5 km away) with various features such as swimming pools, a giant slide, an adventure wave pool, waterfall shower and a water mushroom, a paddling pool, a mini golf course and a beach volleyball court.
