This charming, small house is situated on a farm in the town Fresvik bySognefjorden. The house wasrenovated in 2014.The size of the house is suitable for 1 - 2 people,where the living room also works as a bedroom.

The house is well equipped with everything you need of modern appliances on a goodvacation. There is a lot of soul between the walls, with a rusticinterior and floors of slate in the kitchen. The kitchen also has anold, wood-burning stove, that was used for cooking in the old days. Fromthe living room you have a fantastic view of the fjord. If you want tofish or explore the fjord, rent a 15 ft boat with 15 HP. Life jacketsincluded. There is a covered fish cleaning table with lights and runningwater by the house.

Fresvik is a charming village with 200 inhabitants.Here you will find a small shop, cafe, church and sports arena. Thehosts can inform you about the many good fishing spots and hiking trailsof the area.

    “Der Gefrierschrank bietet leider nicht ausreichend Platz um den gefangenen Fisch (vor allem größere Exemplare) unterzubringen. Die Ausstattung an Besteck, Geschirr und anderen Küchenutensilien war sehr gut und reichlich. Da der Herd und der Ofen manchmal ihren eigen Willen haben ist nicht nur das fangen des Fisches ein Abenteuer, sondern auch das zubereiten. Das Haus war soweit sauber. Bad und Wohnzimmer waren auch gut bestückt. Leider mussten wir feststellen, dass es, nicht wie beschrieben, keine deutschen TV-Sender gab.
    Nun zum Bett. Naja, es war vorhanden. Zwei kleine Matratzen auf einem zur Seite ausziehbarem Sofa. Die Matratzen waren sehr dünn und man merkte seinen Rücken schnell. Auch schoben sich die Matratzen auseinander, so dass ein tiefes Loch zwischen diesen entstand. SCHADE!!! Trotzdem hatten wir viel Spaß und für Leute die nur zum Essen und schlafen im Haus sind reicht es bei weitem.”

    “Gepflegt, nett eingerichtet, schöner Ausblick auf den Fjord. Das Haus liegt gut erreichbar zur Hauptstraße & Einkaufsladen mit den wichtigsten Dingen. Allerdings liegt der Ort relativ abgeschieden. Zum nächsten Restaurant fährt man eine halbe Stunde.”
