A lot of charm awaits you in this vacation home, which is also well equipped. The location is very nice and offers a view of the Roskilde Fjord. The nearby beach on the fjord is shallow and invites especially your children to play. The house is not only ideal for families with children, but also couples who like hiking will feel comfortable here, because there are nice paths in the forest and along the water.
The cottage has three good bedrooms and a fantastic sleeping loft, where you can see the stars in the evening through the skylight. From the large storage room you come into the large kitchen-living room with a magnificent 180° view over the fjord. On the terrace that goes around the house, you can also enjoy the view all day long - beware, there is no railing.
4 km from the cottage is Hundested, where there is always something going on and where you can shop well. The harbor is also very attractive with its fish stores and also a flea market. There is also a glass blowing factory. In this region, vegetables thrive particularly well, in Lynæs there is a store that sells the products of the farms in the area. Within walking distance from the cottage is the forest Nordskoven where you can see famous old oaks ? they are the oldest living things in Denmark. In this beautiful green landscape you can easily go cycling, the routes are well signposted. Where the Roskilde Fjord meets the Isefjord lift you cliffs Store Karlsminde 33 m high. The cliffs turn south and lie a few kilometers east of Lynæs Havn. At the foot of the cliffs, anglers stand patiently with their rods waiting to be bitten. From the top of the cliff you have a view of the Isefjord and the northern part of Roskilde Fjord. On a clear day you can see the Kyndby electricity plant to the south and the DanSteel steelworks in Frederiksværk to the north. From April to September you can take the Kulhus ferry Columbus between Sølager and Kulhuse. From Hundested you can easily get to the Sommerland Sjælland amusement park and it is only 50 km to Tivoli in Copenhagen.
