Plan a day trip towards the north to experience the rock formations of Byxelkrok, a troll forest and the amusement park of Lådbilslandet. In the south, visit the zoo and amusement park in Öland, the Burg Eketorp, the Alvaret and Ottenby. In the neighbourhood is the candy factory, Bredsättra, where you can witness the production and also relax in the cafe. Öland offers many golf courses; the nearest one is the Ekerum’s Golf und Resort. Öland is also an island of artists and craftsmen, whose shops and studios can be found at several places.
